The Hyperbolic Time Chamber, also known as the Spirit and Time Room, is another dimension that is accessible through a door on Earth’s Look Out Tower. The Hyperbolic Time Chamber has time dilation so when 1 day passes on Earth, 1 year passes in the Hyperbolic time chamber.

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is therefore perfect for doing large amounts of training during shorts amounts of time.

Who has used the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?

The first character we see use the chamber was Goku as a young boy, but he couldn’t handle it for very long. He used it again whilst training for Cell with his son Gohan and again in Dragon Ball Super to prepare for the Universe 6 Tournament.

Vegeta and Future Trunks also used the time chamber when preparing for Cell, and Vegeta would go on to abuse the time chamber again for the Universe 6 Tournament, along with Goku.

Goten and Trunks also famously used the chamber to prepare to Majin Buu, and actually had a fight in there with Piccolo cheering them on.

• A person can only enter the time chamber twice. (Until Version 2 was created by Dende).
• The total duration of a persons stay in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber is 2 Earth Days.
• Gravity is 10 times higher in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber than Earth.
• An unlimited amount of people are allowed in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

How to calculate Hyperbolic Time Chamber Time Dilation
