Goku/Future Trunks/Piccolo/Vegeta/Krillin/Yamcha/Tien v Cell Juniors
| Cell Games Saga - Yamcha teamed up with Goku / Future Trunks / Piccolo / Vegeta / Krillin / Tien against Cell Juniors in this fight. Even though Gohan interupted the fight, it's clear most of the Z fighters were getting destroyed. If the fight had continued Krillin, Yamcha and Tien would have been killed quickly leaving the remaining Cell Juniors to gang up on the remaining fighters.

Yamcha is an accomplished martial artist, famous for his Wolf Fang Fist fighting style that he developed all by himself. He’d then later incorporate more mysticism and Ki based attacks after training with Master Roshi, and then Kami. But Yamcha was always held back by being self taught until an adulthood, and could have been the level of Krillin if he trained properly from a young age.
Yamcha has proven himself to be a great student and a very hard trainer when presented with a threat. Though, like Gohan, he only really pushes himself when there’s an imminent danger, and this hurts him in the long run, not living the fighting life. He’d much rather be playing baseball or goofing about with Puar.
Being a martial artist first and foremost, Yamcha relies on his fighting technique to overpower enemies. Although he knows Ki attacks, he’s by no means a master of them, and lacks the fire power to cause killer blows to his enemies. So Yamcha would much rather bait his enemy into hand-to-hand combat rather then messing around with beam struggles.
Another one of Yamcha’s major weaknesses is that he’s a bit naive when adapting to the terrors of the new Dragon Ball Z world. When fighting standard humans, with standard martial arts he excelled. But he was either unwilling or unable to up his game, and understand his latest enemies. He was caught off guard by a Saiberman doing a kamehazee attack, something he’d never seen before. And he missed the obvious threat of Android 19 and Android 20, getting defeated very easily. So these 2 losses weren’t due to Yamcha being weak, but due to him been too naive. So maybe it’s best he retired from fighting, and left the business of saving the Earth to the Saiyans.
Wolf Fang Fist
- This technique was developed entirely by Yamcha, and is a Martial Artists style involving several powerful punches thrown in combination. When done correctly an after image of a Wolf can be shown dancing with Yamcha's fists.
- This is Yamcha's most powerful technique. He somehow managed to figure out how to do a King Kai Spirit bomb on a smaller scale. By gathering life force from the surrounding area and focusing the energy to his hand he created a ball of pure energy while can be piloted by Yamcha mid flight. It packs quite a punch for such a small ball of energy.
- After studying with Master Roshi in the Turtle school Yamcha picked up the Kamehameha. After charging his Ki with his hands to his side, Yamcha can release a powerful blue beam of energy by throwing his hands forward and yelling 'KAMEHAMEHA'
